The characteristic of the sheet is similar to the transparent or compact clear sheet. The transmittance of the light will be 35-88% depending upon the thickness and color of the sheet. This material is highly recommended for any type of trapezoidal profiling.

It gives protection against breakage or intrusion; it is better insulator than glass and is easily fabricated for a wide range of indoor application. Clear SUNLITE® polycarbonate sheet glazing offers excellent clarity and has the highest transmission in the visible light and near infra-red region of the spectrum. As it is essentially opaque to all wavelengths below 385 nanometers, it is ideal for [protecting art, antiques, retails displays and fabrics from the damaging effect of UV rays. Clear SUNLITE® polycarbonate solid sheet offer excellent clarity almost approaching that of glass, with light transmission values of 75 – 87 % depending upon the thickness of sheet
SUNLITE® is a clear, transparent glazing material which provides 200 times more impact resistance than glass at only half the weight SUNLITE® can be thermoformed, fabricated and cold curved for use in architectural rooflights, barrel vaults and specialist glazing applications. Providing high impact resistance SUNLITE® is the preferred material for use in safety glazing, protective screening, machine guards and visors.
